Popular apparel company Juicy Couture, the same one who popularized the velour tracksuit, just announced a pair of iPad cases targeted for women. Billed as the Polka Dot and the Shimmer, the duo of iPad accessories pair conventional housing for your tablet with the company's brand of stylish fashion.
Both come in a standard case format, with a matching flap to cover the iPad when not in use. We're not sure about the actual make of the case, but we're guessing wood, since the price is slightly on the expensive end.
As the name implies, the Polka Dot has a polka dot design on the outer part of the case. It comes in a shade of rosebud tonal, with a metallic suede finish. The inner flap features a "Love Juicy" slogan, along with the crown from their logo.
The Shimmer, on the other hand, comes with a "shimmering" metallic quilted cover, with their logo plastered in small graphics on the outer panels. It comes in a jet hematite (don't even ask me what these colors mean) shade, with polka dot designs on the inside flap.
Both Juicy Couture iPad cases come in a fancy gift box, priced at $128. You can order them right from the company's website.

Like your accessories with bright colors and cheery designs? You might take a liking to Happy Covers for iPad, a line of cushy sleeves decked in bold graphics and vibrant shades.
Known for their geeky cushion covers, Luxembourg-based Happy Covers has branched out to providing protection for your iPad. In doing so, they brought the same bubbly styling from main man Daniel Kurth that has become the trademark of the colorful pillowcases.
Happy Covers for iPad sell compact and lightweight sleeves that offer light protection for scratches, dirt and dust. Made from 100% cotton, each piece is sewn together by hand to ensure maximum strength. It comes with a Velcro fastener on top so the iPad stays in when you want it to.
Sure, it has none of the extra features of other sleeves and cases. If all you're looking for is an attractive case to house your slate when you're not using it, though, this could prove to be a really fun pick. They currently offer eleven designs, namely: 3.5 Floppy Disk, Banana, Joystick, Melodies for Dreamers, Tuut and Ring Cover, Multi Diagonal Geek, Black Sheep, Blue Tilt, Multi Square Geek Nixie 7 and Photo Cell.
Pricing for the Happy Covers for iPad is €23.99 (just a tad over $30).
We're quite enamored with the colorful iPad covers from Fabrix, which bring just a tad more personality compared to your standard protective accessory. For the ladies in the house, it's going to be a tad difficult to find a case as pretty as this: the Fabrix Birdies in Pink.
Sporting no ugly zippers or velcro closure, you may be wondering what's to keep the device from slipping out. The answer lies in the clever inner pillow flap, which secures the tablet's position while it sits inside the case. Interior is lined with soft cushion paddings, which should keep it safe from regular scratches and light bumps.
The Fabrix Birdies In Pink uses a snug and fitting form, capped off by a very feminine design. Beautifully drawn birds, flowers and butterflies line the fabric, set against a lovely pink background. Built to the exact dimensions of the Apple iPad, simply slip the device in, straddle it in your hand and go on your merry way.
With the iPad about to drop into people's hands any day now, this lovely case should make a nice gift for your favorite early adopter of the female variety. Look, ma, no preorder necessary either. You can get it right now for $29.90.
