Designed as an iPad case to take on trips, the Chima Crucial, from Seattle upstart Chima Designs, brings multiple functions that make it an ideal travel accessory. Plus, the stylish looks shouldn't hurt too much, either.
Similar to Brenthaven 5-in-1, the case does more than offer protective housing for your tablet. Built into it are mounting and standing options that extend your iPad's use, whether you're at home, inside the office or in transit.

The Chima Crucial is made from ballistic nylon, the same material used int he construction of heavy-duty luggage bags. It features a dual-zipper closure and inner flap pockets for holding small items. While it is quite the durable shell, Chima warns that it won't protect your iPad from drops, so take the usual precautions to keep your device from falling off.

An adjustable kickstand with a Velcro enclosure is available in the back, which you can utilize to set the tablet up at your preferred viewing and typing angles. The Velcro also doubles as a strap for securing the iPad on one hand. A cleverly-styled headrest mount lets you watch videos during both in-car and plane travel.
You can get the Chima Crucial in black directly from their website, priced at $59.95.

Apple hasn't released a huge line of accessories for the iPad just yet. It seems as if they are giving other developers the chance to take the early lead in the accessory game. They have however produced a few fundamental items that are practically required for any iPad. You might well be aware that these are the keyboard dock, charger and plug in accessories and now they have introduced an iPad Case into the mix. They named it non other than the “Apple iPad Case.” It would be remarkable if you couldn't find this one after searching the internet now wouldn't it? The case ranks amongst quality of many other iPad cases and its prices isn't far off either. At an entry level price of $39 it is surely not that cheap but still an affordable option.
So far from what we've been able to notice about this case is that it features a fairly bare-bones type of design. You are not paying for the most functionality, the most mobility or the cheapest option as your iPad case with this one. What you are paying for however is the extremely well put together looks and appearance that this Apple branded Case can provide for you. It seems as if having the Apple logo on the front pulls the entire case into the category of being labeled as a satisfying accessory from Apple. What you are getting is simple functionality as well. The lid for the case is highly protective. It can fold around the back and also protects the front of your device. There's an added bonus that Apple has generously included as well, and that's the ability to prop up the case as a video stand. If you're into watching movies or perhaps need to display a presentation to an audience, the added bonus of creating this case into a three dimensional display stand is quite the addition.
The case is made from a vinyl like PVC plastic and features a microfiber lining on the inside. Of course, it wouldn't be complete without full access to all of your existing ports and connections so the case adds easy access to side buttons, the head phone port, charging port, etc. What's nice about this case is it's not just a travel case. It's a protective cover for your iPad because when you want to use it, you simply fold back the cover and it serves its purpose of allowing use while it's fully intact.
